Finding Your “Yes” and “No”
Now that you can hold the pendulum steady, the next step is to figure out its way of talking to you. Everyone’s pendulum moves differently, so it’s important to let yours show you its language.
Here’s how you do it:
Hold the pendulum in your usual way and let it settle.
Take a slow breath to calm yourself, then simply ask:
“Show me Yes.”Don’t try to move it. Just wait and watch. You’ll notice it start to swing — maybe forward and back, maybe side to side, or even in a circle.
Once it’s moving clearly, say “thank you” and let it come back to stillness.
Then ask: “Show me No.” Again, wait and see what movement shows up.
This is your personal code. For you, “Yes” might be back and forth, and “No” might be side to side. For someone else, it could be the other way around. That’s why it’s so important to let your pendulum decide instead of assuming.
At first, the movements might be small or shaky. That’s totally normal. The more relaxed you are, the clearer the swings will get. Think of it like learning to have a conversation — you’re just starting to pick up the signals.
